    1. Purpose

    This policy explains how digital products purchased from Peacock & Giraffe Solutions Ltd are supplied, downloaded and supported. It also sets out our refund policy and your rights when purchasing digital products through our website.

    By purchasing and downloading our digital products, you agree to the terms of this policy.

    2. Digital Products

    Our digital products include, but are not limited to:

    • HR Toolkits

    • Employee Handbooks

    • Policy Templates

    • HR Forms

    • Checklists

    • Letters

    • Guides

    • Digital Downloads

    • Editable Microsoft Word documents

    • PDF resources

    All products are supplied electronically. No physical items will be posted.

    3. Accessing Your Download

    Once payment has been successfully processed, you will receive access to download your purchased product.

    It is your responsibility to:

    • Download and save your files promptly.

    • Store a backup copy securely.

    • Ensure you have suitable software to open the downloaded files (for example, Microsoft Word or a compatible application, and a PDF reader where applicable).

    4. Licence to Use

    Unless otherwise stated, all digital products purchased from Peacock & Giraffe Solutions Ltd are supplied under a single-business licence.

    This means you may:

    • Use the documents within your own organisation.

    • Edit and customise the templates for your own business use.

    • Print copies for internal use.

    • Save electronic copies for your organisation.

    You may not:

    • Resell, redistribute or share the products with other individuals or organisations.

    • Upload the products to file-sharing websites or public platforms.

    • Claim ownership of the documents.

    • Remove copyright notices or branding where they are intended to remain.

    If you require a multi-site or commercial licence, please contact Peacock & Giraffe Solutions Ltd before use.

    5. Refunds and Cancellations

    Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, consumers normally have a 14-day right to cancel distance purchases.

    However, this right does not apply once the supply of digital content has begun if:

    • you have expressly requested that the download begins during the cancellation period; and

    • you have acknowledged that, once the download begins, you lose your statutory right to cancel.

    By proceeding with your purchase and downloading your digital product, you confirm your agreement to these conditions.

    For this reason, we are unable to offer refunds once a digital product has been downloaded, except where required by law.

    6. Faulty or Defective Digital Content

    If your download is:

    • corrupted,

    • incomplete,

    • inaccessible, or

    • not as described,

    please contact us as soon as possible.

    Where appropriate, we will:

    • provide a replacement download,

    • correct the issue,

    • or provide another suitable remedy in accordance with your legal rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

    7. Product Updates

    Employment legislation and HR best practice change over time.

    Our products are written to reflect UK law and guidance at the date of publication shown within each document.

    Unless specifically stated, purchasing a digital product does not include future updates. Updated versions may be available for purchase separately.

    8. Customer Support

    If you experience any technical difficulties downloading your purchase or believe you have received the wrong files, please contact us and we will be happy to assist.

    Support is provided for:

    • Download issues

    • Missing files

    • Corrupted files

    • Technical access problems

    Support does not include bespoke HR advice or document customisation unless this has been purchased separately.

    9. Intellectual Property

    All digital products remain the intellectual property of Peacock & Giraffe Solutions Ltd.

    They are protected by copyright law.

    Unauthorised copying, reproduction, resale, distribution or commercial exploitation is prohibited.

    10. Limitation of Liability

    Our digital products are designed as practical HR resources to assist employers in implementing good HR practices.

    They do not constitute legal advice and should not be relied upon as a substitute for obtaining professional advice tailored to your particular circumstances.

    Employers remain responsible for ensuring that documents are appropriate for their organisation and comply with current legislation.

    Peacock & Giraffe Solutions Ltd accepts no liability for any loss arising from the misuse, modification or inappropriate application of these resources, except where liability cannot lawfully be excluded.

    11. Governing Law

    This policy is governed by the laws of England and Wales.

    Any disputes arising from the purchase or use of our digital products shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
